At Ambient Alchemists, we are inspired by the ancient art of transformation. Our logo is influenced by Bismuth Alchemy and is modeled after the Bismuth Alchemy symbol.

Founded in 2019 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ambient Alchemists is a women-owned and operated EDM promotion company dedicated to curating unforgettable, bass-heavy music productions. Specializing in dubstep and experimental deep dub. Additionally, we focus on artists who blend electronic music with live instruments, featuring elements such as violin, saxophone, flute, drums, keyboard, bass, and guitar. This fusion creates a unique hybrid experience for our attendees. Driven by a passion for music and love for bringing people together, Ambient Alchemists strives to make a lasting impact on the industry.
Over the past six years, we Ambient Alchemists have contributed to the Pittsburgh EDM community by organizing & hosting over 45 events. Our events have featured performances from national and international artists — see list of artists we’ve worked with below.
In addition, our contributions extend beyond booking headliner acts. We actively promote and showcase local and regional underground EDM talent, creating opportunities for emerging artists to perform in direct support roles. As a result of these efforts, we have secured opportunities to host takeovers that both highlight this talent and allow them to represent us at music festivals, including Big Dub, Lil Dub, and Deutschtown Music Festival.
Ambient Alchemists also has a history of hosting live-streams and virtual festivals with a range of artists. In 2020, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we kept the music alive by creating and hosting a weekly live stream called “Live Lab” for 19 consecutive weeks, featuring artists like Scales, EOS, and Lemondoza.
We couldn’t do this alone! Our event curation process begins with our vision and is then brought to life through collaboration with local small businesses, who ensure the highest standards of production and sound quality. Our promo team is one of our greatest strengths, consisting of approximately 20 dedicated members known as the Ambient Army Promo Team. They are truly special individuals who also contribute more than just promoting. They go beyond being just a team; they are Ambient Alchemists.
