7/27/24 RECAP: As we approached the start of our Big Dub takeover event, the anticipation was running high and our stomachs were full of butterflies! However, once the takeover began, those feelings quickly shifted into sheer joy as we were welcomed by a blend of familiar and new faces — creating a fun, vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the remainder of our time. It’s exactly that kind of support that keeps us going. Thank you for being there.
Our featured artists, Trickle, Pharro ->> and ZRO, delivered outstanding performances, each reflecting their unique styles. They guided us through a diverse array of genres such as DnB, Jungle, Riddim, Dubstep, House, Deep Dub and beyond. The multi-genre showcase was a success! The audience was so engaged that they couldn’t help but dance, one might even say they were LOCKED IN ~~~
Personal shoutout to our hardworking promo team / team : Emily , KT, Johnna, Jae, Andi, Tessa , Tiana, Kage, Stelle, CD and to the ones who couldn’t make it but were there in spirit! Thank you KMFK Safety Services for setting us up with harm reduction supplies. Everything was mindfully distributed.
We extend our gratitude to all those who managed the New Camp stage. The Scratch Camp was organized and overseen by DJ Strizy and Dommy, with Subaquatic handling the stage production. Link and Dommy were in charge of sound (A1/A2), while John Wales took care of the lighting. It was awesome working with all of you. Thank you for taking care of us and making everything look and sound amazing on top of running so smooth 🧈
